I'm Maanya Goenka, a Computer Science major and Digital Arts and Humanities minor at Carleton College. This e-portfolio is a window into my past work and experiences in the field of Digital Humanities with a specific emphasis on the threads of tool building, media, and data analysis. I have worked extensively on projects within the field of DH and am fascinated by the intersection between the realms of art, humanities, and technology, which are still to some extent considered seemingly distinct areas of interest. My curiosity about the field arose as a result of my work in design and application development, which closely ties together computer science and art and aims to create efficient systems with great user interface experiences. I am excited to continue exploring the intricacies of Digital Humanities and am looking forward to a future where humanists, artists, and engineers can all sit in a room together without raising eyebrows.
